The Centre Hastings Ratepayers Association is up and running.
Secretary Agnes Thompson says 38 people joined at last night’s organizational meeting in Moira, which saw Owen Ketcheson selected to be the Chairperson.
She says anyone who owns property in Centre Hastings is welcome to join, and the group hopes to appear before council as a delegation next Wednesday.
The association was formed because of concerns about road repairs, the new municipal office’s cost and location, and other local issues.
