Northumberland OPP are investigating two break and enters that took place during the overnight hours from August 6 to August 7.
Police responded to a report of a break and enter at what they described as a “recreational business property” on Shelter Valley Road in the Township of Alnwick-Haldimand at around 6:25 a.m. on Wednesday.
Cash and other items were stolen after a locked building was broken into.
A short time later, at around 6:50 a.m., police were called to another “recreational business property,” this time on Timber Ridge Drive in Brighton.
Once again, a locked building had been broken into and primarily cash was taken.
A Scenes of Crime Officer attended both locations to help with the investigation.
