Belleville’s Waterfront Festival reaches back 40-years to pay tribute to the anniversary of “Woodstock” at its July 9-th weekend. Fifty-three local musicians have signed up to play the music from Woodstock, Janis Joplin, The Band, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, and many others. Spokesperson Susan Walsh says Woodtock will be recreated. .Well maybe not all the atmosphere of the 40-year old event but you’ll be able to by flowers for your hair and henna tattoos. The Waterfront Festival has a number of new attractions this year, including a kiddie train, climbing walls and a soccer tournament. Once again the festival is free.
