Northumberland OPP are investigating a two-vehicle collision in Trent Hills.
On Saturday, at around 3:45 p.m., members of the Northumberland OPP, Fire and EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision on County Road 25 at Concession Road 8.
Four people were said to be involved in the collision.
Two of them, a driver and a passenger, were initially transported to hospital in critical condition. At one point, one of the individuals taken to hospital were said to be suffering life-threatening injuries and was taken to a trauma centre by Air ORNGE.
At this time, both individuals’ injuries are considered non-life threatening.
Traffic was redirected in the surrounding areas while the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team attended the scene.
The road was reopened by 10:30 p.m. on August 3, 2024.
An investigation is ongoing.
