K. Wayde Leavitt – entered into rest, with his family at his side, on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Hastings Manor Long Term Care in his 66th year. Son of Rosemarie Leavitt of Wellington and the late John Leavitt. Beloved husband of 40 years to Kathleen Leavitt (nee Weaver). Loving father of Jessica (Kevin) Pennings of Carrying Place and Heather Leavitt of Bloomfield. Proud grandfather of Simon and Carter Pennings. Dear brother of Sheryl Taylor of Wellington and Dean (Leanne) Leavitt of Picton. Wayde is also remembered by Kathleen’s mother, Arlene Orner of Ephrata, PA as well as by several nieces, nephews and extended family. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at Hastings Park Bible Church, Belleville with the family receiving friends at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 am. Interment will take place at Glenwood Cemetery, Picton. If desired, Memorial Donations to Quinte Regional Christian Schools or to the ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
