One person is dead and another injured, after a tragedy at an automotive shop in Quinte West.
Around 4 p.m. Thursday, Hastings Quinte Paramedics, Quinte West Fire, and the OPP responded to Bayside Automotive and Cycle on Old Highway 2, just east of CFB Trenton.
A source to Quinte News indicates that two men were working underneath a vehicle, when the hoist gave way.
One person was injured and taken to hospital, while the other was killed.
The Ministry of Labour is said to be investigating.
No details have been confirmed at this time and we have reached out to the OPP and the Ministry of Labour.
