Three members of the Belleville Beast Swim Team took on the country at the 2024 Speedo Canadian Swimming Championships held in Toronto.
Sixteen-year-old Bayside Secondary School student Francis Brennan finished in the top ten in six events and fourth overall in the 100 and 200 metre backstroke and 200 metre freestyle.
Also competing were 15-year-old Hallie Lupton from Bayside and 17-year-old Caelen Calder, a student at North Hastings Secondary in Bancroft.

Brennan, Lupton and Calder were all at the younger age in the categories.

Finished in the top 10 in six events : the 100 and 200 back, 50, 100 and 200 free, and the 200 Individual relay And competed in four other events : 50 Back, 100 butterfly, 400 Free and 400 Individual Medley
