One person was injured in a collision between a vehicle and a train in Stone Mills township late Tuesday afternoon.
Lennox and Addington OPP say a northbound vehicle entered the tracks at the Canadian Pacific railway crossing on Tower Road and was struck by a westbound train.
The collision sent the vehicle into the ditch, causing the driver to be ejected.
The vehicle became fully engulfed in flames, requiring Stone Mills Fire Department to extinguish the fire.
The motorist was transported to hospital and is in stable condition.
The investigation is being continued by CP Rail.
