A disturbance in the east end of Belleville has led to breach of probation charges against one person.
Police responded to a disturbance involving two males and two females fighting Sunday evening, with one of the combatants reported to have a baseball bat.
One of the males had fled the scene by the time police arrived.
Police learned that male had been waiting at the residence of one of the involved females despite being on probation not to be within 100 metres of where she works or resides.
Late Monday afternoon police arrested a 27-year-old man charging him with two counts of breach of probation.
The unidentified man was held for a bail hearing.
