Meiklejohn, Gladys Mae… Passed away at the Burnbrae Gardens Nursing Home, Campbellford on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife to the late Gordon Meiklejohn. Loving mother to Lynn Meiklejohn (Mabel), Jim Meiklejohn (Debbie), Pamela Hunter (Jim), Darren Meiklejohn (Vickie), the late Doug Meiklejohn (surviving wife Cathy) and the late Penny Meiklejohn. Dear grandmother to her 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Gladys will be fondly remembered by her good friend Bill Bonter. She will also be missed by her extended family and her friends. The family will receive friends at the Weaver Family Funeral Home, 77 Second Street, Campbellford on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm with a funeral ceremony to follow at 1:30 pm. Interment at Rylestone Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation, St. John’s United Church or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
