One person is dead following a collision involving two Sea-Doos on Crowe River on Saturday.
Central Hastings OPP, Marmora and Lake Fire Department and Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services responded to the collision involving two personal watercraft near Marmora and Lake just before 3 p.m.
Initial investigation by OPPĀ indicates that a Sea-Doo with two people struck the rear of another Sea-Doo that also had two people on it.
The operator of the Sea-Doo in front was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, the 40-year-old male passenger from Quinte West was pronounced deceased.
All four people were wearing life jackets at the time of the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
