The John M. and Bernice Parrott Foundation has come through for the community once again.
Monday Quinte Health announced a $200,000 donation to the Quinte Children’s Centre.
The money provides treatment and support for thousands of local children and youth with special needs.
The donation was spurred by an application from Children’s Treatment Centre social worker Jocelyn Plane who was trying to find money to help a child and family obtain the equipment they needed.
The Parrott Foundation approved the request and now the $200,000 will be set aside to help families in instances when no other funding sources are available.
