It’s a gold medal for the Napanee Express U17s at the Ontario Softball Elimination tournament over the weekend.
Taking place at the Napanee Fairgrounds, the home team shut out Wilmot 8-0 to take the Ontario softball crown.
Noah Wylie of the Express was named Best Pitcher in the Tournament.
The top four teams, including Havelock, now prepare for the Nationals, which are taking place August 6 – 11 in Saint Gervais Quebec.
