Belleville police responded to a report of an unwanted person at Belleville General Hospital early Tuesday morning.
Just after 2 a.m., hospital security requested police assistance removing a man who they say had been causing issues.
The man was told by police to leave.
Later, around 2:35 a.m., security once again called police saying that the man had returned.
Police say the man was adamant on returning and refused to leave.
A 24-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested under the Trespass to Property Act and charged with Enter Premises When Entry Prohibited.
The man was later released on a Provincial Offence Notice.
