The Children’s Safety Village is hosting a free bike helmet giveaway Saturday.
The rain or shine event is being sponsored by Bonn Law and Doug’s Bicycles, in partnership with the Brain Injury Association Quinte District.
Helmets of all sizes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with experts on hand to provide proper fitting.
Senators Mascot Belly will be on hand to welcome kids as they arrive.
It goes from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., or when the helmets have all been given away.
It is at 129 South John St, just off Dundas Street East in Belleville.
