A drug investigation in Bancroft has resulted in charges against four people.
Members of the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit and OPP Bancroft Detachment conducted a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant on Wednesday.
Officers seized fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, morphine pills, Adderall pills, cellular devices, drug paraphernalia (eg. digital scales), Canadian currency, ammunition, and a 60,000k volt conductive energy weapon.
Four males were arrested. All were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Trevor Conlin, 32 years old, Lucas Brownlee, 34 years old and Raymond White, 62 years old, all of Bancroft and David Vautour, 34 years old of Faraday Township have been charged with:
- Four counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and morphine)
- Possession of a schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking amphetamine
Trevor Conlin was additionally charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000.
David Vautour was additionally charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
- Two counts of fail to comply with probation order.
