The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation has announced it has received a donation of $11,499 from the Royal Canadian Legion District F Hospital Trust.
Funds raised by the trust was through their Poppy Fund campaign.
A cheque presentation was done on June 5 and was attended by guests from the Royal Canadian Legion District F and Trenton Legion Branch 110.
“On behalf of the Royal Canadian Legion District F Hospital Trust, supported by the Ladies Auxiliary and all 53 legions, it is our pleasure to present this donation to the hospital in support of veterans and the community,” said Don Ramsey, chair of the Royal Canadian Legion District F Hospital Trust and Zone F2 Deputy Commander, in a release.
