It’s an active real estate market in this part of Ontario, according to the president of the Central Lakes Association of Realtors.
Vicki Sweeney says average prices were higher in May than in May of last year across all regions and there has been a noticeable increase in listings.
Meanwhile, for Belleville, 65 single-family homes were sold in May with an average price of over $563,000, slightly lower than in April.
In Quinte West, 54 houses were sold at an average price of $610,000, slightly lower than in April.
Thirty-one homes were sold in Prince Edward County last month with an average price of almost $803,000, higher than in April.
And in Brighton, 20 single-family homes changed hands with an average price of $763,000, higher than in the month before.
