The City of Quinte West released its building stats for May 2024.
For the month, there were 35 building permits issued for residential housing with the value of the permits totalling $4,554,000.
The number of permits issued across all categories for the month of May was 56, with a construction value of $6,430,000, down from last year when there were 68 permits issued with a construction value of $10,084,000.
Year to date, there have been 228 building permits issued at a construction value of $25,353,500, down from the year to date last year when there were 247 building permits issued at a construction value of $73,235,000.
