Prince Edward County has offered an update on what happened to the electric vehicle (EV) chargers in Wellington on the weekend, putting them out of service.
Monday the County reported the chargers had been damaged and that OPP had been contacted.
Police confirmed a vehicle collision on the weekend damaged the chargers.
The collision has been deemed an accident and there was no foul play involved.
Staff are working on repairing the chargers to get them back in service as soon as possible.
The EV chargers on the Main Streets of Bloomfield and Picton remain available.
