Quinte West OPP has laid charges in connection with two serious assaults that happened in Trenton on the weekend.
On Friday, officers responded to a report of an assault near the arena where they located an individual with stab wounds.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Two youths were arrested at the scene and charged with numerous offences.
On Saturday, police responded to a disturbance and assault behind the shopping centre on Dundas Street East where the victim was found with multiple stab wounds.
They were treated for non-life threatening injuries in hospital.
Investigation resulted in an arrest a short time later.
Eighteen-year-old Trevor Holtzhauer of Belleville is charged with Aggravated assault and Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
