Greater Napanee Pride is gearing up for its biggest celebration yet.
Organizers say this year’s event being held on Saturday, June 1, promises activities, performances and more, highlighting the diversity and spirit of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
It begins with a parade along the waterfront trail at Conservation Park at 10:30.
That will be following by Pride in the Park the park, an afternoon of entertainment, food vendors and children’s activities across the park.
The day wraps up with Pride in the Country Saturday night at Strathcona Paper Centre, where there will be dancing and drag featuring headline Suki Doll from season two of Canada’s Drag Race.
Greater Napanee Pride says, as they prepare for their third annual pride festival, they continue to show that small towns like Napanee can lead the way in championing inclusivity and embracing diversity.
