The St. Theresa Titans are the Bay of Quinte High School Baseball Champions after defeating Prince Edward Collegiate 8-2 in the final.
The game was scoreless through four innings as the Titans’ Keaton Sararas and the Panthers’ Mitch Sills engaged in a pitching duel.
St. Theresa broke through with two runs in the fifth.
Both teams advance to the Central Ontario High School championships which will be hosted in Melrose on Monday.
Cobourg Collegiate and St. Mary’s Catholic Secondary of Peterborough are the representatives from the Kawartha District.
