Many local businesses are closing down for Victoria Day on Monday.
Local grocery stores including McDowell’s Independent, Belleville Metro and Walmart are going to be closed, though their garden centres will remain open.
Quinte Mall will be closed, though the Shoppers Drug Mart there will remain open.
All local area Beer Store locations will close, except for the Bell Blvd. location in Belleville. All LCBO locations in Belleville, Trenton, and Prince Edward County will be closed.
All banks and government offices will be closed for the holiday.
Belleville Transit and Quinte Transit buses will not be running on the holiday Monday.
