The call for applicants for the Prince Edward County OPP Detachment Board is now open.
The County of Prince Edward is seeking applications to form the Prince Edward County OPP Detachment Board as required under the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019.
Are you interested in contributing to the future of policing in your community? Members of the Prince Edward County OPP Detachment Board will be responsible for:
Oversight of the OPP Detachment Commander’s local action plan
Presenting an annual report to council
Preparing rules and procedures
Creating by-laws, local policies and board policies
Preparing board estimates/budget to council for board operations
Completing mandatory board training
All interested applicants are encouraged to submit a letter of interest outlining their competencies and attributes listed in the “competencies and attributes model profile” prior to May 19, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Applications can be submitted in the following ways:
