Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is preparing to begin reports on the quality of water at local beaches.
The reports will begin on May 24.
Beaches scheduled for testing will have water samples collected and lab-tested for bacteria, and notices will be posted if levels exceed safe provincial guidelines.
Beaches that test normally will be checked every month, while those that are found with high levels of bacteria will be retested more frequently.
The results of the most recent tests can be found on the Public Health website here.
