There have been more contraband seizures at Kingston area institutions.
The Correctional Service of Canada says packages seized between April 30 and May 1 at Joyceville Institution, a multi-level security federal institution, included tobacco, marijuana, cell phones and cell phone accessories.
The total estimated institutional value of the seizure is $131,415.
On May 2, a package of unauthorized items including tobacco, marijuana, and edged weapons was seized at Millhaven Institution, a maximum-security federal institution.
The total estimated institutional value of that seizure is $19,570.
