The 173 Royal Tiger Air Cadet Squadron has received a grant through the Ontario Trillium Foundation to enhance the squadron’s music program and provide hands-on, engaging aerospace activities for youth in Trenton.
On April 27, the 173 Squadron cadets will participate in a variety of aerospace activities funded through the OTF grant, including building and launching rockets.
Bay of Quinte MPP Todd Smith will join the cadets to acknowledge the government grant and its impact on the community.
The grant will facilitate the expansion of programs and resources available to the Squadron, contributing to its mission of developing youth leadership and citizenship skills.
