Prince Edward County is now accepting applications from low-income residents seeking financial relief on their property taxes and/or water/wastewater bill.
Applications for the Municipal Financial Relief Grant will be accepted until July 15.
Households earning less than $32,240 (single income) or $64,480 (family income) will be able to apply for one of two grants:
Qualifying tenants who pay for water and wastewater services can apply for a credit of up to $350 on their water bill, while qualifying homeowners can apply for a credit of up to $750 on their property tax account.
