The Belleville Senators are going into the final week of the regular season and they have been red hot lately.
They now control their own destiny to make the playoffs.
After winning five of six, the Sens hold on to the final playoff spot.
They are three points up on Utica, two points up on Laval, with a game in hand on the Rocket, and two games left to play against them.
Belleville welcomes Syracuse Wednesday before finishing out with Laval in a home and home on the weekend.
If the playoffs started today, Belleville would meet the Toronto Marlies in the best of three play in series.
