A 31-year-old Belleville woman faces an assault charge after a disturbance involving children and adults early Sunday evening.
Police were called to a residential area at Pine Street and Humewood Avenue shortly after 7 o’clock to find adults and kids involved in a heated dispute outside.
Officers had to separate some of the adults.
After investigating, police charged Joelle Hubbs who allegedly threw an 11-year-old boy on to the ground in her yard.
She appears in court May 23.
