Nine people have been charged in a drug trafficking investigation in Belleville.
On Tuesday, members of Project Renewal, the K-9 Unit and Emergency Response Unit arrested the suspects on North Front Street, between Tracey St. and Bell Boulevard.
Officers seized cocaine, crack, and cash.
One person from North Frontenac, one from Frankford, one from Picton, and six from Belleville have been charged.
They have all been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime, among other charges.

Twenty-five-year-old Kaitlyn Dalton of North Frontenac:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and
- Proceeds of Crime under $5000.
- Dalton was also wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant from another police service for dangerous driving and flight from police. She was issued a release order with a future court date for the charges related to the warrant.
Thirty-two-year-old Alex Dumouchel of Frankford:
Forty-one-year-old Jamie Henderson of Belleville:
Eighteen-year-old Arianna King of Belleville:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and
- Proceeds of crime under $5,000.
Fifty-year-old Terri-Lynn Lafrance of Belleville:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and
- Proceeds of crime under $5,000.
Thirty-five-year-old Sara Landry of Belleville:
Wanted on an outstanding warrant by BPS for forceable entry
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and
- Proceeds of crime under $5,000.
Fifty-year-old Douglas Tweedy of Belleville:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and
- Proceeds of crime under $5,000.
Forty-six-year-old William Wood of Belleville:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and
- Proceeds of crime under $5,000.
Fifty-year-old Dorothy Speirs of Picton:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and
- Proceeds of crime under $5,000.
- Breach of probation failing to keep the peace and be of good behaviour
- Breach of probation possessing drug paraphernalia
