Quinte West OPP have laid additional charges against the five people charged in connection with the murder of a local teen.
Twenty-two-year-old Morgan Belyea, 27-year-old Steven Courneyea, both of Belleville, 43-year-old Harold Russell, 28-year-old Aaron Ryan and 29-year-old Khadijah Courneyea, all from Quinte West are charged with first degree murder in the death of 17-year-old Kiean Stoddard of Quinte West whose body was found at a motel on Dundas Street East on January 7.
OPP say Belyea, Russell and Steven Courneyea have also each been charged with:
· Conspiracy to Commit Murder
· Robbery with Weapon
Ryan and Khadijah Courneyea have each been further charged with:
· Conspiracy to Commit Murder
· Robbery with Weapon
· Obstruct Peace Officer
The investigation continues under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
