The number of planned construction projects so far this year in Prince Edward County is considerably lower than for the same three months of 2023.
To the end of March 120 building permits with a construction value of $22.2 million were issued in The County.
In the first quarter of last year 181 permits had been issued totalling $43.9 million.
As far as March itself is concerned, 57 permits were issued valued at $6.4 million.
In March of last year 75 permits were issued with a value of $23.5 million.
