A new public art exhibit has been launched in partnership with the City of Quinte West and the National Air Force Museum of Canada.
The exhibit titled “Your Air Force at Trenton” is an outdoor public art display that celebrates 100 years of the Royal Canadian Air Force and the history of 8 Wing/Canadian Forces Base Trenton.
It shows 16 photos of historical images, artifacts and perspective showing the Base’s influence and impact on the community.
The display is the next installation in the city’s “Art on the Trent” outdoor public art program. Art is displayed at RiverFront Square, Centennial Park and Frankford Tourist Park.
The “Your Air Force at Trenton” exhibit will be on display until September 2024.
