Prince Edward County Fire & Rescue is restricting all burning in the municipality due to dry conditions, effective today.
A full burn ban prohibits all outdoor burning, including brushfire, campfires, and burn barrels.
The Fire Chief evaluates weather and ground conditions to determine the necessity of a burn ban. When conditions improve, the ban will be updated.
