Events are being planned across the Quinte region for next week’s upcoming eclipse.
The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board has partnered with multiple local businesses to highlight nearly 20 different events for eclipse watchers in the community.
In Belleville, events include a bike tour through the city during the dark hours, and an eclipse-viewing party at Meyers Creek Brewing Company.
In Quinte West, eclipse-watching events are being held at the National Air Force Museum and at the Quinte West Public Library.
The eclipse will take place on Monda,y April 8 from roughly 2 p.m. to 4:30. The total eclipse will last from 3:20 to 3:23.
