The Belleville Senators defeated the Laval Rocket 5-2 on Saturday night.
Jacob Larsson, Max Guenette, Cole Reinhardt, Jiri Smejkal, and Oskar Pettersson scored for the Sens.
The Senators came out swinging in an aggressive first period, outshooting the Rocket 14 to 8 during the period and finding the back of the net twice. The Rocket managed to slip in a goal of their own before the frame ended. During the second period the Sens kept up the pressure, grabbing two more goals, while The Rocket picked up one more of their own. In the third, the Sens grabbed one last goal, extending their lead and taking the win.
The Senators are back in action on Friday hosting the Springfield Thunderbirds.
