The Trenton Golden Hawks slipped past the Toronto Jr. Canadiens 2-1 in overtime, to sweep their playoff best of seven series 4-0 on Friday night.
Adam O’Marra and Ben Pickell scored for the Golden Hawks.
After a deadlocked and scoreless first period, the Golden Hawks opened up with an unanswered second period goal, before Toronto came back with an unanswered goal in the third to tie the game and bring the teams to overtime. After 12 minutes of overtime, the Golden Hawks found the back of the net, and took the win.
