Another major member of the Belleville Police Service is retiring.
At Thursday’s meeting of the Police Services Board, Deputy Chief Chris Barry announced he will retire at the end of the year.
He has 32 years of service.
He will still spend some time as acting Police Chief, as current Chief Mike Callaghan is retiring at the end of April.
Police Board secretary Susan Boyle will also be retiring soon after 36 years of service.
