A process that began in October is expected to come to an end at a meeting of Brighton council Monday night.
Council is expected to pass its 2024 budget.
If approved, the over $35 million budget will increase taxes for residential ratepayers by 5.84 per cent.
That means that on a home valued at $400,000 taxes would go up by a little over $26 a month or about $315 a year.
