A 29-year-old man faces several charges after police seized cocaine and other drugs in Napanee.
Wednesday night just before 10 o’clock, members of the Lennox and Addington OPP Community Street Crime Unit arrested a male walking on John Street.
During a search, officers found approximately 24 grams of suspected cocaine, two grams of suspected fentanyl and one gram of suspected methamphetamine. A cell phone, digital scales, plastic bags, and cash were also seized.
Cody Brooks of Greater Napanee is charged with:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court – two counts
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
