A Trent Hills man is facing charges related to a historical sexual offence in Northumberland County.
On February 21, an alleged victim contacted police to report a sexual assault during October to November of 2023.
This past Tuesday, the Tactics and Rescue Unit and the Northumberland and Peterborough Crime Units, executed a search warrant on County Road 38, northeast of Campbellford.
The 44-year-old suspect has been charged with sexual assault and intimidation.
To protect the victim, the name of the accused is being withheld
