A public information meeting regarding a proposed redevelopment of a resort property on East Lake in Prince Edward County will be held Thursday.
The County has received an amended application for a Zoning By-law Amendment for 41 Willow Lane in Athol Ward, formerly known as Cribs Resort.
The amendment for Allswell Resort would permit 11 tourist cabins, a motel with 12 guest rooms, unmotorized water craft rentals, a barn for dry storage, and accessory uses including a club house, boat launch, boat docks, pool, bar, and washrooms.
This rezoning application has been amended after residents voiced concern with the proposal at a previous public meeting held last October.
The meeting will take place from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at Athol Town Hall (1685 County Road 10).
