A Belleville woman has been charged after a disturbance involving an employee of a Dundas Street East business Monday.
Police responded to a store shortly after 2 o’clock in the afternoon after reports an employee who was currently serving a suspension was causing problems.
While speaking with police it’s alleged the woman tried to grab a small knife that was in her possession.
Charged with causing a disturbance and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose is 53-year-old Cherie Brown.
She has a court date later this month.
