The Trenton Golden Hawks finished their regular season play with a 3-1 victory over the Burlington Cougars.
David Fournier, Barret Joynt, and Kyloe Ellis scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks opened scoring late in the first period, taking a slim 1-0 lead into the scoreless second period. The two teams attacked aggressively as the goalies blocked every shot. Finally, in the third period, the Golden Hawks grabbed two more goals while the Cougars managed to get on the board with their only goal of the night.
With the Cougars unable to catch up, the Golden Hawks took the game.
