Nicholson Catholic College is moving ahead in the process of selecting a new school/team nickname, asking for suggestions from the public.
The school will be retiring the Crusaders moniker and is seeking a nickname that embodies its mission, vision and values.
Students, staff, alumni and community members are invited to make suggestions online.
Name suggestions should also include rationale as to why the name has a tie to the Catholic school’s identity and values.
A short list will be created from the submissions, followed by a final vote.
The school says student voices will continue to be at the center of the decision-making process.
