Loyalist College has received a score of 100% employer satisfaction with graduates according to a recent report from Colleges Ontario on Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
The provincial average is 91.8 per cent.
Loyalist College President and CEO Mark Kirkpatrick said that the college works hard to ensure graduates are well equipped to enter Ontario’s workforce.
“Our excellent KPI results clearly indicate our institutional alignment with our values and strategic vision,” said President Kirkpatrick. “We continue to make investments in our facilities, programming, research initiatives and student engagement experiences to ensure that Loyalist College is well-positioned to continue fulfilling our purpose as a resource for industry and the community.”
The report also showed that loyalist graduates are 3.5 per cent more likely to be employed than average for Ontario college graduates.
The Ontario colleges’ KPIs were developed collaboratively by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, Colleges Ontario and student associations in 1996 in response to recommendations from the provincial auditor to create outcomes-based accountability measures.
The annual KPIs allow colleges to monitor year-over-year progress against their goals and determine ways to improve the programs that support the student experience. KPI results also give prospective students details to help them make informed choices about post-secondary education.
