The Wellington Dukes demolished the Lindsay Muskies 8-2 on Friday night.
Josh Rumolo, Connor Hunt, Nick Dipaolo, Sacha Trudel, Colin Smith, Ethan Quick, and Ben Vreugdenhil scored for the Dukes.
The Muskies opened scoring in the first period, but the Dukes came back to tie the game before the end of the frame. In the second, the Dukes surged with three unanswered goals to gain a commanding lead, before scoring four more goals in the third. The Muskies got a final goal late in the frame.
The Dukes have a day off before hosting the Muskies for a rematch on Sunday.
