The Belleville Senators kicked off a 3 game road trip with a big 4-1 victory over the rival Rochester Americans.
Angus Crookshank broke a 1-1 tie mid way through the third period. It was his team leading 19th of the season.
Crookshank says the B-Sens played a solid 3 Zone game.
Rourke Chartier (4th), Josh Currie (9th) and Garrett Pilon (12th) rounded out Belleville’s scoring.
Mads Sogaard turned aside 27 shots.
The win moves the Senators into fourth place in the tight AHL North Division one point behind the Amerks. And they play them again Friday night in Rochester.
